Like-Mindz is a very unique online spiritual community very different from any other you will find anywhere else. We are not to be confused as being a psychic chat site like many other sites that are found all over the net as the main focus here is not psychic and mediumistic readings, that is just a small part of who we are.

We are a group of like-minded people from all different walks of life who share the belief that we can help make a difference to our world. And by focusing our thoughts and energy in a positive way, together we can work towards healing the individual and the planet as a whole.

We understand that if we truly wish to make a difference in this world, we have to begin a long process of personal and spiritual development, which involves stripping away layers of conditioning we have all been subjected to for a long time here on earth.

We are aware that this is not an easy process, and it will inevitably shake the foundations of what lives we have built up for ourselves which could potentially crumble away underneath us.

We are slowly beginning to understand that we are much more powerful than we have been aware of in the past. We are eternal beings with infinite potential to create a very different way of being for ourselves and break free from this self made prison that is held in place through our fears.

Our aim is to have a safe place we can join together to focus our intentions, work through our old conditioning, gain knowledge of who we really are and how we can make this world a better place.

This process is not for everyone, it is in no way an easy path to take and will shake up everything you once believed to be true.

We ask that our visitors are aged 18 and over and we want it to be clear that readings are for entertainment purposes only and any views people have are individual views and in no way can the site be held responsible for freedom of sharing thoughts and feelings. If we feel that your input to the site is not in the best interest of the community, as a whole, we maybe forced in some cases to either silence or remove these people. In some cases there will not be a warning or an explanation but we will always try to be as fair as possible.

We did not want to have a hierarchy in the structure here at Like-Mindz as we hoped that everyone could be perceived as equal which is how we should be. However, we feel it is important that we do not give our energy to anything that takes us away from who we really are and this will, at times, mean we have to direct the focus of the chatrooms and clear up misunderstandings that might arise in the chatrooms. To enable us to maintain the standard of the site therefore, some of our founding members have been given admin for the security of our guests. We do not feel it is necessary for these people to have to have a label as labels and titles will inevitably create a power imbalance and in our experience trigger reactions from the ego.

We encourage open mindedness and the freedom to think for yourselves and make your own choices. We do not mind at all if any of our members wish to visit any other sites. We are not trying to control or compete with anyone. We understand that some people prefer to have the structured safety net that is created by the placement of strict rules and regulations.

We strongly believe that as long as we treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves that we can avoid the need to dictate to our members and police the rooms. Some people find it easier being told what to think as it is difficult to make their own decisions as they are unsure what they really believe, think or feel. We are adults here and do not need to be treated like children, we encourage you to learn to think for yourself and make your own choices.

We do ask however, that if you attend our classes here and possibly would like to practice readings in our chatrooms, we have a certain standard we would like to maintain. Readings here at Like-Mindz are structured in the way we teach in our classes and we would like to move away from the styles which involve fishing for a potential sitter you will find taught elsewhere. Like-Mindz does not follow any organized religion as such but welcome individuals from all backgrounds and cultures. We ask that our members try and avoid pushing their personal religious views onto others and respect each others right to choose for ourselves if we wish to follow a certain path or way of life.

We hope to clarify many of the myths and misconceptions that have been created by the media in all of its many forms and clear up the illusions that these so called "New-Age" people have been constructing which is being used as some sort of fashion statement people seem to be making with outrageous labels that are in fact meaningless and of no use at all.

The classes here at Like-Mindz are unlike any classes you will find online, we pride ourselves on having the best most knowledgeable teachers with a deep and expansive knowledge of the subject matter. Our teachings can often shake the very foundations of your belief systems and because of this we have noticed that sometimes we will see people defending their conditioning and old world view. This is because some people struggle with change and feel safe in their old way of being. We understand that when faced with new knowledge that is difficult to brush aside it can feel very threatening to a person’s sense of security.

We ask that if you are new to classes that you please refrain from being disruptive. We will do our best to answer your questions after the class but students who have been following a course of classes will be missing out on the set topic for that particular class. Quite often different people come in and ask the same questions over and over so our regulars end up losing out.

We have no problem with anyone at Like-Mindz looking around at the classes elsewhere but we do suggest that if you have decided to attend regular classes here it is always better to try and be consistent. Students who flit from site to site gaining a little knowledge from several sources have demonstrated a very confused and distorted view of many of the topics that are covered her at Like-Mindz. It is far better for everyone concerned to be committed and consistent.
