Let me introduce myself,

My name is Jo but alot of people know me as purplemoon, which has been my nic on various psychic sites online. I have been developing, studying and researching psychic ability and spirit for the past 20 years.

I started my quest to find a religion that truly made sense for me while I was still at school and over the years I looked into pretty much everything. Sadly I didn't find one that felt right with me and I guess I have taken something from most and now have my own belief structure which is a blend of many religions, philosophies and science.

I started out very young attempting to read psychically. I would play games in my mind guessing things and trying to read peoples minds and remember reading tea-leaves and being very accurate.
I started learning the Tarot when I was 16 and read every book I could get my hands on. I expanded my knowledge and studied astrology, numerology, runes, palmistry, graphology, dream interpretation, crystals and anything else you can think of including healing arts such as Aromatherapy, I have also been attuned to Reiki levels one and two.

As I got older my interests became much deeper and I started studying spirituality which I started to blend with human conditioning and its effect on us. I started to see how much readings could affect a persons life and decided to study psychology and counselling and gained ABC Board levels 1 and 2 in counselling skills.

In 2002 I became very sick and came close to passing myself and I guess my experience had a totally life transforming and enlightening effect on me. I found myself visiting a spiritualist church and through a succession of synchronious events I found myself working the platform in a short space of time. Actual reading professionally became more part of my life and I started to read at many "psychic evenings" that were held in countless pubs and hotels all over the northwest of England and North Wales.

It was around this time I found the Internet and psychic chat rooms and met some of the most inspiring teachers and friends I have had the pleasure to mix with. In fact most of the people I have met online and joined with me to build our community here at like-mindz. I am truly thankful to all the other teachers and helpers here who have enabled Like-Mindz to grow and evolve into the wonderful community it is now, I will introduce these people further down on this page.
I am especially grateful to a lady who will always have a place in my heart. Some of you will know her as Spiritphone, I call her Mum as she has always been like a mother to me. I consider her to be my teacher and mentor and I am eternally grateful for the continued love, support and guidance I have from her..... I Love You Mum xx
I have 4 wonderful children who I love dearly and a totally incredible partner Will. I wont tell you how talented and amazingly intelligent he is because he says he is modest lol.

There are many other Psychic chatrooms on the internet but like-mindz isnt just a psychic chatroom, its a Spiritual community that is constantly evolving but the basis of this community is to reach out and touch as many like-minded people as we can so we can seek knowledge and develop spiritually and personally and in doing so focus healing and love for the whole planet.

This is Will, the brains behind the scenes of likeminds. Will works as a computer programmer and has a Masters degree in Physics. Will has worked extremely hard in his spare time (which is very limited I have to say) writing the chat software for this site single-handedly and I think he has done amazingly well in the short time we have had the site up and running.

Without Will I don't think we would have a site, we certainly wouldnt have had one up and running as fast as we did. Even though it was myself and LilyB who are responsible for the design elements of the site it was Will who fixed all my mistakes and sorted any of my geeky problems so I have to think him for totally saving my life in that department too.

Although he wont admit to it Will is also an excellent reader, and has been known to give some really first class readings both online and in person and he is very interested in the link between Science and Spirit. He wants evidence and will not believe anything without proof. Drives me insane but it keeps me on my toes lol. Will is also a healer who has been attuned to Reiki levels one and two.

Will is Dutch but grew up all over the world in various places including Costa Rica, Guatamala, Venezuela, France and Holland to name a few. He is almost fluent in 5 languages and probably another 5 computer languages if not more.

Chris aka Reikicris

Chris is probably one of the most genuine and down to earth and totally loveable people you could meet. She is a Reiki Master and an amazing healer. She attuned both myself and Will and many other people who frequent the site. She teaches Reiki here at like-mindz and is an excellent teacher. Chris is a Medium and does some amazing readings, she is probably one of the top 5 readers I know.
She keeps herself very busy with her work which is a blend of Reiki and the wonderful gemstone creations she sells.

Yankee aka Her Royal Runeness is the resident Like-Mindz Queen of Comedy. This very special lady has to be one of the most hilarious people I know. She is also our Runes teacher and is an excellent teacher too. She has a very wonderful way of making sense of Runes which to me have always been one of the harder psychic tools as I am a very visual person. Jane is a very down to earth, keep it real type of person with a heart of gold. She is a huge animal lover and she has lotss of pets (dont ask me how many, just lots lol)
She is a great reader both psychic and mediumistic and has always been a very special friend of mine. I love her to bits.
